Common questions

Why does ikut ask for location “Always”?

So the others’ map, your arrival time and hazard warnings keep working while your phone is locked or another app, like your navigation app, is in front. ikut only uses it during a trip you’ve joined, and only as much as you choose to share.

I don’t want the others to see where I am

Choose Only my arrival time when you join, or change it during the trip. Choose Stop sharing to send nothing at all.

How do I delete my data?

Delete a trip from Past trips to remove your drive and reports from it, or delete your account in Settings to remove everything. See the privacy policy.

I don’t see the trip on my Lock Screen

The Live Activity shows once the organiser has opened the trip. Check that Live Activities are on for ikut in iOS Settings, and that you haven’t swiped it away for this trip.
